so hot

It's so hot the chocolate is melting. Inside. In the house we are trying to keep cool. I'll have to put it in the fridge... 39 outside, mid 30s inside and likely to get hotter unless the sea breeze kicks in. Hurry up sea breeze, or cool change, due some time this afternoon!

Time to lie in front of the fan with a wet flannel.

    Do you have airconditioner? ours broke down last Monday and the insurance probably won't cover it! So I may be out of pocket by 450 dollars @##@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Yikes! We're having unseasonably warm temps here - mid to upper 40s (F) for the rest of the week. No snow, no ice... this is just NOT December in MN. Except it is.

LOL G'day all! Apparently I can no longer blog more than once a month. Mea slacka, I admit. So what's been happening here? I've done a lot of knitting recently.  Ahem I may have bought a fair whack of yarn too.  So much for not spending money. One year and a contest

G'day all! One year ago, DH and I flew to the US. We landed in LA before we left home - ah the wonders of the date line (of course on the way back we lose a whole day!). (maybe I should've posted this yesterday to match up with the time we left Melbourne, not the time in the USA.... argh, time travel is such a pita!) We flew across to Denver and were collected by Nathan's possible new boss and driven to Fort Collins. Three days later, utterly charmed (particularly cos it snowed on us - our home doesn't get snow), we flew back home and prepared to move from our home to the USA. It was another three months before we moved but that is another story! Seattle Six

G'day all! 12 is a big number around here, being all to do with Seattle Seahawks and the 12th man - did you know that American football has 11 players active on the ground at any one time and the twelfth man is the spectators watching the game?  I didn't.  I know about the 12th man in cricket but not this thing that has been adopted here regarding what I usually call gridiron. But I don't want to talk about American football and I don't want to talk about 12, I want to talk about six. Yes, we have now been in Seattle for six years (and a number of days). Six years. Where has the time gone?
