Things I am learning
G'day all! I am very lucky. I get to live a Slow Life. I rarely have to hurry hurry hurry anywhere (if I do it is my own fault for not taking notice of time). I get to ride my bike instead of driving (driving means I have No Time). I get to make stuff and craft to my heart's content. This morning I rode into DH's work and on further to buy him an "apothecary" jar (aka a small terrarium). He rode with me. Alas, that Michaels didn't have any! And it was a big shop too with a better variety of stuff (doh didn't get to check the yarn to see if they have sock yarn now). Then I rode home again via wholepaycheque. Now I am knackered - I was going to catch the train but I missed it by 5 minutes and in the middle of the day they only run at 30 minute intervals. It takes thirty minutes to ride home. You do the maths! For the rest of today (apart from cooking dinner) it seems that I will be squaring up all the patchwork squares I cut yesterday and the day ...
